DrivingPairs

For people who drive pairs, tandems, unicorns
and other multiples, or who would like to learn.

We are the only site on the web dedicated to the driving of multiples. We also host a moderated discussion list for those who love driving more than one animal, or want to learn how or simply brush up on your driving skills. Our membership includes whips (carriage drivers) from around the world. To join, click on the Discussion List link in the menu and follow the instructions.

As our web site and discussion list evolved through the years, we have been privileged to learn about some of the rare and unusual animals that are being used to drive. We wanted to share some photos and breed history of some of these exceptional driving animals. The guideline we used is the list located on the Livestock Conservancy web site at www.albc-usa.org.

In most cases, the photographs are of multiples, but occasionally when unavailable, we used photos of a single driving animal. If you know of a rare or unusual breed being driven in a multiple hitch, but not included contact us so we may include them. To see them all, click Unique Breeds on the menu.

We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit. Please come back again and bring a friend.
